About the Bachelor of Science in Public Health Program
The Â鶹´«Ã½Å®ÍøºìBachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) program in Urban Health Disparities provides the next generation of scholars, public health practitioners, and future clinicians a rich educational foundation which integrates theoretical, applied, and social justice knowledge to public health research, practice, and policy.  
The BSPH program offers a public health curriculum through a social justice lens that integrates the foundational public health domains, knowledge, skills, and research experience. The BSPH program curriculum enhances our graduates’ ability to translate and apply the newly gained public health knowledge and skills to public health practice, graduate and clinical programs. Our program faculty provides a supportive and accessible learning environment to engage critically with course materials and share opportunities to gain hands-on experience.
CEPH Accreditation Announcement for Third-Party Comments
Charles R. Drew University of Â鶹´«Ã½Å®Íøºì, College of Science and Health, Master of Public Health (MPH) Accredited Unit is undergoing a self-study for re-accreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).
The CEPH site visit will take place on November 4 and 5, 2024.
As a part of the accreditation process, we would like to invite all interested parties and stakeholders, including MPH and BSPH students, alumni, faculty, preceptors, advisory council members, community partners, and the PH practice community, to provide written comments directly to CEPH about the MPH and BSPH programs. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who wishes to share their feedback or have their voice heard.
CEPH will accept comments until 30 days prior to the site visit, i.e., by October 4, 2024.
